Complex extractions made predictable
Atraumatic Extraction Kit · eight extractors designed for use with MAGNETODYNAMICS on the Magnetic Mallet
Eight extractors designed for use with MAGNETODYNAMICS. Two complementary families — Pathfinder and AngleFit. A controlled periotomy performed with MAGNETODYNAMICS designed to replace traditional forceps for root tip extraction, fractured apices, impacted third molars, and complex posterior cases.

01 The clinical problem
When forceps reach
their limit
Tooth extraction is among the most common procedures in dentistry — but traditional instrumentation (forceps, dental elevators, levers) applies uncontrolled mechanical forces that systematically damage alveolar bone. Buccal cortical plates fracture, root tips break, soft tissues are traumatized.
In posterior sectors the problem worsens: access is limited, straight instruments cannot reach mesial and distal surfaces of molars, and impacted third molars demand extensive osteotomies. The result is a compromised socket — months of healing and often grafting before an implant can be placed.
02 The solution
Periotomy performed with MAGNETODYNAMICS
atraumatic by design
The Magnetic Mallet delivers a controlled impulse of up to 260 daN (about 265 kg) in 50 microseconds. BLEXO uses this impulse for Periotomy performed with MAGNETODYNAMICS — the instrument enters the periodontal ligament space with a progressive wedge effect, widening the space around the root from the inside out, without applying leverage on alveolar walls.
Eight dedicated instruments in two families — Pathfinder (four straight extractors) and AngleFit (four angled extractors) — cover every root morphology and access angle. The alveolus is preserved intact for optimal socket preservation.
02 Six problems solved
Where traditional forceps
fall short
Alveolar preservation
No leverage forces on the alveolar walls. Buccal and lingual bone are preserved, ready for socket preservation or immediate implant placement.
Controlled periotomy
The impulse generated by MAGNETODYNAMICS technology enters the periodontal space with a progressive wedge effect — millimeter-level precision, constant force.
Access to complex roots
Eight dedicated profiles: Micro for apices, Slim for flat roots, Arc for curved roots, LongRoot for deep roots, plus four AngleFit extractors for posterior sectors.
Leverage using MAGNETODYNAMICS
The impulse is delivered by the device: constant, reproducible, independent of operator fatigue. The same result at 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Power level 1 throughout
The lowest Magnetic Mallet setting is sufficient for every extraction — no need to increase. Clinical reports consistently describe little to no perceived shock.
Optimal socket preservation
The alveolus stays intact post-extraction — ready for immediate implant placement or spontaneous healing, typically without need for additional bone grafting.

03 The Surgical Kit · Components in detail
Eight extractors
one workflow
Atraumatic extraction, alveolar preservation, optimal socket preservation. Two complementary families to cover every clinical scenario.
BLEXO is one kit composed of two complementary sub-kits — each with its own dedicated workflow:
Pathfinder
| BLEXO Micro | ultra-thin | Fractured apices, narrow PDL |
| BLEXO Slim | slim & elongated | Flat roots — incisors, premolars |
| BLEXO Arc | curved | Interproximal, esthetic zone |
| BLEXO LongRoot | extended | Deep roots, palatal canines |
Straight extractors with different profiles to enter the periodontal space according to root morphology.
AngleFit
| AngleFit Mesial | mesial angle | Anterior molar, mesioangulated 3rd |
| AngleFit Distal | distal angle | Posterior molar, retromolar |
| AngleFit RightSide | right lateral | Right-side molars |
| AngleFit LeftSide | left lateral | Left-side molars (mirror) |
Angled extractors to reach mesial, distal, and lateral surfaces of molars in posterior sectors.
Standard protocol commonly uses power level 1 for all eight extractors. Periotomy is performed with MAGNETODYNAMICS through impulses delivered by the Magnetic Mallet.

How to use BLEXO
case by case
Watch the periotomy performed with MAGNETODYNAMICS in action — then choose the BLEXO profile that matches the clinical scenario in front of you.
Three scenarios, one kit
Reach the apex without osteotomy
BLEXO Micro enters the residual periodontal space and mobilizes the fragment without bone removal.
Both surfaces, minimal osteotomy
AngleFit Mesial and Distal reach both surfaces of the third molar, keeping osteotomy to a minimum.
Each root, individually
After crown separation, AngleFit RightSide and LeftSide engage each root in turn.
05 Biological evidence
Atraumatic extraction
biologically measurable
Periotomy performed with MAGNETODYNAMICS enters the periodontal ligament space without applying leverage on alveolar bone. Peer-reviewed studies indicate measurable benefits in operative time and post-extraction bone preservation when extractions are performed with the Magnetic Mallet impulse. Full clinical evidence is consolidating across multiple cohorts.

07 Frequently asked questions
Questions clinicians
often ask
What is BLEXO and what is it used for?
BLEXO is a system of eight extractors designed for use with MAGNETODYNAMICS on the OSSEOTOUCH Magnetic Mallet. It performs atraumatic tooth extraction through periotomy performed with MAGNETODYNAMICS: the impulse enters the periodontal ligament space with a progressive wedge effect, mobilizing the tooth without applying leverage forces on the alveolar walls.
What is the difference between Pathfinder and AngleFit?
The Pathfinder family includes four straight extractors (Micro, Slim, Arc, LongRoot), optimized for different root morphologies. The AngleFit family includes four angled extractors (Mesial, Distal, RightSide, LeftSide) designed to reach molar surfaces in posterior sectors where straight instruments cannot access.
Does BLEXO help preserve alveolar bone during extraction?
Yes. BLEXO works through periotomy performed with MAGNETODYNAMICS: it enters the periodontal ligament space with a progressive wedge effect, without applying leverage on the alveolar walls. The post-extraction socket typically remains intact, enabling optimal socket preservation for immediate implant placement or natural healing.
Can BLEXO extract impacted third molars?
Yes. The combination of AngleFit Mesial and AngleFit Distal allows access to both surfaces of impacted or partially impacted third molars. Periotomy performed with MAGNETODYNAMICS mobilizes the tooth with osteotomy kept to a minimum, which can reduce the risk of inferior alveolar nerve injury.
At what power level should BLEXO be used with the Magnetic Mallet?
Standard protocol commonly uses power level 1 for extraction workflows. The 50-microsecond impulse is below the threshold typically perceived as vibration; clinical reports consistently describe little to no perceived shock.
Does BLEXO work on fractured apices?
Yes. BLEXO Micro features an ultra-thin profile designed specifically to reach fractured apices and retained roots in deep periodontal spaces. The impulse generated by MAGNETODYNAMICS technology creates a progressive wedge effect that mobilizes the fragment, often without the need for osteotomy or surgical flap.
Is BLEXO compatible with Magnetic Mallet handpieces?
Yes. The eight extractors fit new-generation Magnetic Mallet handpieces and use the impulse generated by MAGNETODYNAMICS technology. All extractions are performed at power level 1.
